Lidl’ Dog is a 1986 custom built one bedroom, one bathroom, steel pontoon houseboat. It has been owned by the current family for over 18 years and is up for genuine sale.
On boarding there is a generous shaded front deck, with plenty of room for comfortable outdoor dining. Also two storage boxes, hooded BBQ and four-person outdoor setting. The steel safety railing is in good condition and new timbers were fitted to sponsons deck.
On entry there is a spacious open plan living area, the starboard helm has all standard Tohatsu and VDO instrumentation with Hydrive Admiral series hydraulic steering, Uniden UHF radio, Eagle depth finder and JVC Stereo. Aft of the helm is a six-person dining setting, opposite there is a portside lounge with sofa bed to cater for extra guests.
The mid-ship portside kitchen has laminated benchtop with ample cupboard and pantry space, Chef four burner gas cooktop/grill/oven, LG fridge/freezer and a Sharp microwave.
The master bedroom is a queen walk around size with built-in wardrobe and cupboards.
Opposite is the bathroom with a moulded shower, household flushing toilet and vanity.
The stern deck is fully under cover with plenty of room to relax and enjoy river views. Leading to a generous swim deck allowing easy entry for all water activities with a sink and water tap. There is also a 5Kg Simpson washing machine, plus plenty of storage.

Last slipped May 2024 at Mannum Slipway. Pontoons were pressure washed then wire brushed for repair with 2 x tins of Ferropre as required. Two coats of Intertuf black vinyl paint 11L used, where required to seal pontoons as best as possible. Pontoons currently are sealed and not leaking, but life expectancy unknown and will not pass an Insurance Risk Assessment as is. Estimate cost of two steel pontoons replacement fitted is $80,000 or supply only $60,000.
This is an As Is Where Is, Walk in – Walk out sale. The purchaser is responsible to apply due diligence regarding inspection and purchase of the vessel. The vessel is currently non-compliant or insurable.
